How does one become a Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army?

you have to develope a warrant officer packet for aviation. It takes time. You have to take the ASVAB and the AFAST. The AFAST is the flight apptitude test. You have to score a minimum of a 90 to pass the AFAST but 110 is recommended for consideration. Once you are finished with your packet (recruiter will help with this) you will first go to a selection board of recruiters to determine your strength as a candidate. If you pass through that with flying colors then you will go to the WOFT selection board. From what I hear it is difficult to get picked up on your first attempt. If you get selected you would find out when will ship to warrant officer school. It can be anytme within a year. You will attend warrant school and once you graduate there you would attend flight school at Ft Rucker, Alabama. I believe flight school is a year but not sure. I would contact a recruiter and let them know your wishes and they can help you with the process.
