To be a nationally registered cytotechnologist, a person must attend an approved/accredited program in cytotechnology, earn a bachelor’s decree and successfully complete the national certification examination. Can one attend the program as a part-time student? No. At present the program does not offer a part-time option. Is the cytotechnology program difficult?
