How does one apply for membership?

The normal way one becomes a member is by being nominated by a member. A bishop, priest, or deacon who wishes to apply for membership, if he does not know a member who can nominate him, may directly email SSM@catholic.org with a message stating his agreement with and acceptance of the principles of doctrine and principles of morality in the 1977 Affirmation of St Louis, and listing the details of his ordination and present cure. An ordinand or seminarian who wishes to apply for associate membership, if he does not know a member who can nominate him, may directly email SSM@catholic.org with a message stating his agreement with and acceptance of the principles of doctrine and principles of morality in the 1977 Affirmation of St Louis, and identify his present parish. A layman who wishes to apply for membership in the Confraternity of the Society, if he or she does not know a member who can nominate him or her, may directly email SSM@catholic.

The Centre will periodically issue expressions of interest (EOI) when recruiting new members. These EOI’s will be posted on the Centre’s website, in the media and distributed to First Nation communities and organizations.
