The German Weather Office (DWD) has been measuring and documenting global radiation in Germany for more than 20 years. The DWD uses this scientific data to produce global radiation maps on a 1 km grid. These maps show the radiation strength for every area of the Federal Republic of Germany. SunConcept works with current data from DWD maps.
