Only those WRRSP projects that are being sponsored by direct loan projects identified as ready and eliglible to proceed to construction during the 2006 program year will be considered for funding during Program Year 2006. All WRRSP project nominations received by the announced deadline will be given a project score by using the Integrated Priority System (IPS) (see page 5 of the 2005 WPCLF Program Management Plan). For 2006, the projects are proposed to be divided into two categories: a)protection category, and b) restoration category. Projects in both categories will be ranked separately for funding. A fundable group of the program year projects in the each category, and the Statewide Projects category will be identified by distributing $7.5 million in available WRRSP funds down the priority list for each category in priority sequence until a group of WRRSP projects has been identified within each category with collective project costs equal to $7.5 million.
