We select wood species that are beautiful, rapidly renewable and/or come from sustainable forests. What is Sustainable Lumber? Sustainable Lumber is wood harvested with the goal of maintaining a balanced ecosystem. These forests are replanted to replenish what is taken, animal habitats are preserved and environmental damage is closely controlled. As a result forest health and diversity are preserved.
