How does NOISEBATH mask equipment acoustics?
When the objective is to protect against an adversary exploiting sounds from a target equipment, such as the sounds of keys on a typewriter or computer keyboard being struck, the NOISEBATH masking material contains actual and artificially generated equipments sounds (i.e. dummy intelligence signals). These masking sounds mimic the sounds from the target equipment. An example of dummy intelligence signals is previously recorded sounds from equipment keyboards. These dummy intelligence signals when incorporated in the masking sounds and played in a properly set up NOISEBATH system make recording and subsequent computer processing and separation of the acoustic mixture of target and masking sounds extremely difficult.
