How Does Nix Treatment for LiceWork?
Lice treatments kill by acting on the central nervous system of the louse. Permethrin, the active ingredient in Nix Crème Rinse, is toxic to the nerves of head lice, causing paralysis and death of head lice. Don’t panic if you see live lice, it may take up to several hours for lice to die. Remember to physically remove all nits (lice eggs) with the provided Nix comb as Nix Crème Rinse will not remove these alone.
