How does new product development happen at Educational Insights?
Idea conception? We really listen to our resellers and customers and consider what they are looking for. Our product development team works constantly through the year. Additionally, twice a year, we hold line reviews. Line reviews involve the president and both national sales managers, pooling knowledge and experience to determine – Is there is a need for this? What competitive products are out there? What line extensions should we be looking at? Do all Educational Insights’ products meet certain criteria established by the company? Absolutely. Educational Insights products are developed by former teachers. Every product has tested and approved educational value. Wherever possible, teaching extensions are provided with products. Design and inherent content have to be age appropriate and meaningful.
