How does Netiva work?
Netiva includes a designer and a server. The designer part of Netiva is installed and launched like typical a desktop application, but it is build with Java, which provides many unique benefits. The server part of Netiva runs on any Windows 95 or NT machine- you can even use your own desktop machine as the server. You create a database application as a series of pages using Netivas graphical interface. As you build your application, a database is built for you automatically. When youre finished, a simple menu command uploads your application to the server. Users access the application via a Java-enabled web browser such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer.
