How does Nemours intend to improve the state of children’s health care in Florida that by most accounts is ranked very low nationally?
The health care industry across the country is currently in a state of dynamic change and transformation. Nemours will continue to encourage and advocate that state lawmakers help by addressing complications with programs such as KidCare, among others. But not all of the problems are confined to the realm of public policy, state politics and bureaucracy. There are impacts that providers can – and should – have on the delivery of service and the improvement of the health care system; and we will continue to encourage and partner with them for change.
