How does natural lighting factor into a zero energy home?

0

Natural light is one of the wonders of designing in this way. Through the central core of the house, we have some really high lights. There are windows and a skylight. These windows allow outside light to come into the house. The central core of the house has a lot of natural lighting. It is not unusual to have natural lighting around the perimeter of most homes, but they usually do not get natural lighting into the interior of the home. We also have two solar tubes that help to bring natural light into the interior of the home.
