How does natural handmade soap differ from commercially made soap?
My handmade soap is made using the ‘cold-process’ method, in other words it’s made from scratch at low temperatures. These moisture rich bars retain all of the natural glycerin. Commercial soap manufacturers remove this glycerin and sell on the secondary market. Glycerin is a natural humectant, which helps your skin stay exceptionally smooth, clean, and moisturized. Many commercial soaps contain inexpensive ingredients such as animal tallow (yuk!), which can clog pores and aggravate eczema, or detergents, which can leave skin feeling dry. My customers comment on how incredibly soft and smooth Soap Goddess soap makes their skin feel. I promise you once you try our handmade soap, you will never want to use commercial soap again!
