How does national culture help and/or hinder entreprenuership in China?
Chinese businesses leaders are very good a using outsiders to help shape internal cultural changes which they see as necessary. Chinese people can see no reason to change their culture or neccessity for entreprenuership. I believe the isolationist culture and middle management need for consensus decision making is hindering their entreprenuership. However the country is vast and we tend to judge it from the coastal population belt. There are in reality several Chinese cultures but they are still mainly shaped by their Confusionalist past.
