How does napoleon treat boxer in animal farm when he became ill?
Napoleon sends Boxer off to the glue factory to be slaughtered. Note that Boxer was targeted as part of the ‘Great Purge’ (shown by the way he is attacked by the dogs) but he easily defends himself against them, sparing the lives of the dogs at Napoleon’s request. After selling Boxer, Napoleon buys some whisky for the himself and the other pigs with the money. However, the other animals believe Boxer was sent to the vets.
