We do not place banner advertisements on the primary StartPage. Banner ads only appear when a member clicks on a commercial link, such as a commerce or premium news page. We automatically exclude advertisements that promote alcohol, tobacco, pornography, or gambling. In addition, we have the ability to further filter advertisements to exclude vendors that compete with any merchants whom you have an existing relationship.
