How does my systems memory affect Nucleo?
By looking at the Resource Settings window (found in the Nucleo status icon menu) you can see and adjust some basic Nucleo memory settings. The first entry shows the amount of memory that Nucleo will reserve for the operating system and other applications. If you need to run another memory intensive application such as Adobe Photoshop you should increase the value from the default of 512 MB. The next entry shows the maximum number of processes Nucleo uses for rendering individual frames in a render or preview. At most this should be equal to the number of cores in your system but can be lowered to allow for other applications on the system to exclusively use processor cores. The final entry shows the current value the Nucleo processes are using for their RAM Cache. This can’t be adjusted manually. Each time that Nucleo loads the value will be calculated based on available memory.
