Answer a quick, five-minute survey and let us know you’ve tested the Checklist. Organizations that indicate they’ve tested or plan to test the Checklist will be represented on a special Surgical Safety Checklist Sprint map. What will my organization be expected to do if we join the Surgical Safety Checklist Sprint? The minimum expectation is that your hospital will test the Surgical Safety Checklist at least one time with one operating room team by April 1, 2009. Of course, many hospitals will sprint ahead and test the Checklist many times, with many operating room teams. Some hospitals will sprint right to the finish line: implementing the Checklist in ALL operating rooms for ALL surgical procedures.
