Your new HSBC Credit Card will work just like before but with the additional feature of MasterCard PayPass, which will allow you to make payments under £10 without entering a PIN. Once you have activated your card by calling 0800 328 1370 and made a Chip and PIN transaction you are ready to start using your new HSBC Credit Card with MasterCard PayPass. When asked to pay for a low-value item all you have to do is to hold your card on the MasterCard PayPass reader and wait for a beep to show that the card has been read successfully.Where can I use my new HSBC Credit Card with MasterCard PayPass? You can already use your new HSBC Credit Card at many retailers in the London Launch area and others are adopting all the time.
