Are the four elements carried out over the life of the community, and, not necessarily on a weekly basis? That is correct. You want to take a snapshot of your community over a two or three month period to see that there is health and a balance of the four elements. A missional community need not practice all four of the elements at every group meeting. A key role of the leader is to see that the four elements are lived out “over time” and to place emphasis on areas where the community needs to grow.
