Mvelopes includes a credit card management feature to help users avoid costly service fees and interest charges by properly managing credit card spending. With the way most budgeting programs track spending, it is all too easy to spend down your checking account, and run up a balance on your credit card both accounts laying claim to the same money. However, in Mvelopes, when a user makes a purchase using a credit card, the transaction amount is removed from the spending envelope and placed into to a special envelope to pay off the credit card.
