How does movement or vibration in my machine affect the rotating electrical connector?
Vibration can significantly shorten the life of the rotating electrical connector or even cause failure. Vibration moves the liquid metal conductor away from the contact area, which can cause open or shorted channels. If vibration is present in the application a vibration isolating mounting should be used to mount the rotating electrical connector.
