FSL performance is application sensitive. Typically, rigidly mounting the sensor will improve hysteresis and repeatability performance. If the FSL is mounted in a flexible or unstable situation, certain performance specifications will be adversely affected. Also, interfacing the FSL with mechanical springs and other nonrigid actuation devices might affect performance.
