How does MINDsprintings Reading Excellence program work?
Our Reading Excellence program teaches students how to read and write. It begins with letter sounds, moves onto word-attack, early reading, and finally building vocabulary and clear thinking with word lists and writing. Reading Excellence teaches students all the basic skills usually taught through the end of the 3rd grade (when all the basics should be mastered). Then students should be ready to focus on improving their understanding of what they read and we automatically transfer them into our Reading Comprehension program.
