how does Microsoft messenger work?
I assume you have read the FAQ on Microsoft Messenger, so I will give you a general idea: With Messenger, you can chat over the internet. You don’t neccessarily need a hotmail account, but it is more convenient to start out with one (get one at http://login.live.com/login.srf?id=64855). Next, you download the MSN Live Messenger from here: http://imagine-msn.com/messenger/launch80/ install it, and when asked for your hotmail account, enter the username/password you have just defined for your hotmail account. Next, you should add your friends, so you can communicate through the messenger. You can do this by using ‘ add contact’. Make sure you use the account they want to use in Messenger. If they already have messenger, you will see them right away, otherwise they will get a mail from you, inviting them to install messenger too. More on this:
