How does MetroBanks Internet Bill Payment service work?
Your payments are electronically transferred from your MetroBank checking account to your payee’s account through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network. If the party you are making a payment to is not setup for electronic transfer, a check is sent via US Mail. Recurring and future dated payments may be established.
