How does Messiah College incorporate the Christian perspective in its athletic programs?
A – While Messiah sets standards for excellence in Division III intercollegiate athletic programs, we also encourage development of the whole person through sports. At Messiah, principles of sportsmanship and fair play take precedence over the results of athletic contests. The physical and psychological well-being of each participant is affirmed in the context of team camaraderie. This means that person, character, and faith development are of great importance to the coaches.
