If the parties resolve the dispute through mediation/conciliation, a Memorandum of Agreement may be drafted by the parties or by the attorneys of the parties, with the assistance of the mediator as the scrivener. Once the agreement is reviewed and signed by all parties to the dispute, the complaint filed with the Department will be closed and upon complying with the terms and conditions in the agreement, the complaint will not be reopened for further processing.
