How does material wastage get factored in?

Wastage gets factored in after the roof model is drawn. Sheets/panels, Flashings etc. all have allowances available that will add certain amounts of extra material for each sheet/flashing. In addition to this, extra waste can be added in the Waste-specific section of the software to further modify the results to include waste and also to round the resultant figures to the next nearest measurement factor. This method is relevant to tiles only.
