How does Marymount Manhattan address the important issue of substance abuse?
Possession or use of controlled substances on the Marymount Manhattan campus is prohibited, and possession of drug paraphernalia is considered a violation of this policy. The detection of marijuana smoke is considered evidence of its use and all parties in its presence will be held in violation of the MMC substance abuse policy. The sale or distribution of a controlled substance is prohibited. Students found possessing, consuming, distributing, or selling illegal drugs will be evicted from residence halls and held responsible for housing and meal plan costs for the entire academic year, without refund.
