How does Manhattanville fit into the My Soldier Program?
Because of the divergent takes on the war within the college student population, the My Soldier program is set up in such a way that people from both sides of the issue can feel included. There’s a strong social justice and community service focus at Manhattanville – last year at Manhattanville, our 1,500 students logged over 19,000 community service hours – so it’s a natural extension of the school’s mission: ‘”to educate ethically and socially responsible leaders for the global community.
