How does Lucy in Elfen Lied originally get captured?
I’m not sure if it’s in the anime, but I recall that in the manga, Lucy makes friends with this girl somehow while running around homeless. She’s tracked down by the police and while on the run, this girl gets caught in her affairs as she’s following Lucy. The police come and shoot at them, which results in the girl getting shot, though she isn’t quite dead yet. Lucy gives her life to the enemy in a promise that they’d try to save the girl (though the girl ends up dying anyways). She is then taken into custody and locked up where you see her in episode 1. It’s something like that.
