How does LTL Shipment work?
The following is an outline of how LTL deliveries work: You can expect a phone call from the freight company at least 24 hours prior to delivery. Therefore, it is important we have your daytime phone number. PLEASE INSURE YOUR EBAY PROFILE HAS YOUR CURRENT DAYTIME PHONE NUMBER. This is the number we will receive with your order. FAILURE TO PROVIDE A CURRENT PHONE NUMBER WILL CAUSE DELAYS IN SHIPMENT. There are some special considerations regarding LTL freight deliveries. Please consider the following information before placing your bid: • Many truck freight companies do not require their drivers to unload shipments. Please make arrangements to have extra help on hand to assist in these circumstances. Ramps and/or unloading equipment may be necessary to have at the site • If the shipping company needs to make special arrangements to unload merchandise for customers, such as special lift-gate truck delivery or extra delivery personnel, unless otherwise noted, it will be the responsibilit
