How does LSA compare to FSA Coach?
Both LearnStudentAid and FSA Coach provide Web-based lessons and interactive practice questions and quizzes. The key differences between the two is that LearnStudentAid provides a learning account to each learner, keeps track of the learner’s progress through the course, provides interactive discussion forums, and releases material as the learner successfully completes the course requirements. LSA learners communicate and interact with each other and with experienced aid administrators who serve as mentors. LSA is designed to be a learning community of professionals. SFA Coach is more an independent activity. We believe aid administrators can benefit from both, but that the involvement with the community offered in LSA provides an introduction to the collegial atmosphere of the aid community to those who can’t participate in classroom workshops.
