How does long-distance Reiki work?
Reiki Level Two practitioners who can use Master Usui’s healing symbols – which were imparted to him after a 21-day fasting period on a mountain top – are able to heal at a distance and do healings regardless of time constraints. In my view, this talent is a telling marker for the truth that Reiki is first and foremost a spiritual method. The body may show fatigue, pain, and dis-ease, yet the origins of these are the denial of, or the non-attention to, our spirit nature.
