For example, if we’re designing a system that might double as someone’s home theater, we create a more powerful system (e.g., the powerful Z-5500 Digital 5.1 system) that will fill a larger room, such as a living room, than an office or den, where a standard computer system is likely to be located. However, if we’re designing a more affordable surround sound system for the gamer and a college dorm room, we will pack as much audio performance as we can into a sub-$100 package (e.g., the X-530 5.1 system).
