How does LMP make sure that buyers report results accurately?
Buyers who underreport results will only hurt themselves by doing so, because underreporting sales will make the incentives they offer less compelling to sellers. If the buyer’s incentives aren’t compelling relative to his competitors offers, very few if any sellers will be interested in engaging with him. This inherent disincentive for underreporting is a powerful tool, even more powerful than the strict LMP buyer policies and underreporting penalties that we have in place.
