How does live one-on-one online tutoring work?
As a general rule, tutoring sessions are set up during regularly scheduled days and times. Of course, the schedule can be altered to meet the student’s changing needs. The online program utilized enables the student and tutor to use a two-way whiteboard which allows both the student and tutor to write, draw diagrams, solve mathematical equations and use charts & graphs … all live and in real time. Our screen and file sharing tools allow students and tutors to view online textbooks, workbooks and exchange worksheets. A voice over internet program [VoIP] is utilized for audio communications. There’s nothing to download or additional software to buy*.
