How Does Lip Stain Work?
A lip stain is an alternative to a standard lipstick. Whereas lipstick contains a wax-based form that adheres to the lips, lip stain does not contain wax. Instead, many lip stains begin with a water or gel base that can be purchased or made into a variety of forms, including a brush-on stain (which resembles nail polish), marker, gel or lip stain pot. Lip stains also contain dyes and may have some form of alcohol.
