How does LifeAgent consume system resources?
After the initial backup, Memeo LifeAgent utilizes very little system resources, if any. Memeo LifeAgent will “wake up” whenever an event is prompted (i.e., somebody plugs in a device, saves a file, deletes a file, adds files, reconnects to a network) to determine if any work needs to be done. If so, upon completion of that task, Memeo LifeAgent will return to sleep mode. However, with the initial backup, CPU usage will be higher as Memeo LifeAgent scans for selected file types and folders, backs up pending files, and verifies them simultaneously.
