How does life coaching differ from therapy?
Life coaching helps a client unlock her/his full potential through a series of conversations focused on “looking forward.” It is not focused on “looking back” over the course of one’s life to determine why decisions were made. Rather, life coaching seeks to uncover a client’s true potential and provides guidance on how to achieve that potential. Like therapy, what a client decides to do with that information is entirely her or his choice. Lastly, unlike the strict therapist/client guidelines, life coaches love their clients to help them see their highest potential.
