How does Leviticus 25 define the jubilee?
Then there’s this: In Leviticus 25 there’s the fiftieth year, the year of the jubilee. Sabbath is not just a day. The concept of Sabbath includes the seventh day, seventh year, fiftieth year. In the fiftieth year, says Leviticus 25 these are the things that are supposed to happen: All debts are cancelled. You look like the kind of group that would think that was good news.
