How does Legends know that a certain actor wore a certain article of clothing?
During a production, the production company and movie studios may tag the wardrobe item with the names of the characters that wore them. These tags are usually safety-pinned or sewn inside the wardrobe item. If the item is not tagged, the studios will often simply separate and organize the actors’ wardrobe into individually marked boxes. Legends will then confirm this data by watching each film or television episode numerous times, matching the article of clothing with the scene in which it was featured.
