How does learning through LAMP allow my child to grow socially?
We at LAMP know that learning social skills is important in learning networking skills for future careers. We also know that students have a need to be social. Our students will be able to communicate through forums, instant messaging, and other means in their courses on a regular basis. Generally, these are focused forums with a specific purpose. Those who live in the area are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular and community activities here, or in their home district. Those enrolled through LAMP but who do not live within driving distance are also encouraged to participate in extra-curricular and other community activities in their area. Field trips are also a possibility in any course, although none are currently required. Online extra-curricular activities are also a possibility.
