Lean Six Sigma is a way for manufactures and service companies to reduce waste, streamline their business, help cut costs and increase net gains. In the manufacturing world this means learning how to reduce physical waste along with improving quality and eliminating any undo costs. For service companies the goal is to reduce man hours needed for projects, reduction of office supply usage (paper, electricity and unneeded steps) along with the reduction of down time and increased responsiveness.
