How does LDI handle security issues regarding projects placed on-file?
LDI recognizes the importance of security and we offer customers the flexibility to handle a sensitive project in the most appropriate manner. Jobs can be placed on-file with LDI without the plans being viewable over the Internet or available for viewing in hard-copy format in our Plan Rooms. All jobs that are made available for viewing on the LDI-Line are encrypted so that they cannot be printed. In addition, LDI reserves the right to ask for photo (or other appropriate) identification before processing an order for any customer or company not known to us. Further, we purge our digital files of archived documents on sensitive projects so as to assure that prints are not available from us after a project is completed. Finally, LDI receives occasional security updates from authorities so that our security procedures support broader security objectives. If you have legitimate security concerns about your project, please discuss them with us when the project is placed on file.
