How does laser removal work on a tattoo?
Tattoos are created by injecting various colours of ink or pigment into middle layers of the skin. Laser beams delivered for a few nanoseconds by a Q-Switch laser can break down most pigments. Tiny particles of pigment are then usually filtered away through the lymphatic system in your body. A few may rise to the skin’s surface within crusts or scabs. The latter are exfoliated away naturally within 1-2 weeks.
