How does Kumon’s cost compare to traditional tutoring?
Kumon of Denton’s tuition is priced affordably at $120 per month, for math OR reading. Students may enroll in two subjects for $240 per month. For families that have three or more enrolled subjects at one time, we offer a $5 per subject discount. There is a one-time registration fee of $50 and a non-refundable one-time materials fee of $50 per student. Placement testing and a prospective student progress plan are both free, and will be discussed with each parent carefully before enrollment is permitted. By comparison, national brand hourly tutoring services typically charge from $45-$55 per hour, or about $300-$500 per month, along with a $125 to $200 fee for pre-enrollment testing.
