How does keeping anger, hurt, guilt , fears bottled up from past childhood affect a person?
Bottled up is a good expression to use. Think about every bit of moment in which anger, hurt, guilt or fear was repressed is like acid building up in a soda bottle shaken up that never had its contents released released and is continued to be shaken. . . once the top comes off or the top blows off its going to create a mess. Keeping those things built up is like toxic waste of the mind. . . if its not attended to it can cause stress on the mind leading to stress on the body through a number of psychological disorders like loss of sleep, loss of appetite, etc, which can take a serious toll on the body. Personality disorders are set of serious problems that can form to repress the negatively feelings resulting from childhood, which can be dangerous. Not sure how long hypnotherapy has been around I believe it was formed in the early 1800’s, Freud used it if Im not mistaken. Its similar to free association but the person is supposed to not be aware that they are releasing there deepest dar
