How does Karen make her original Fanciful Flight(tm) characters?
When making her creations, Karen always starts with a paper pattern which she places onto the metal, very much like a sewing pattern onto fabric. This shape is then cut out and painted. She attaches charms just like the kinds that you can find at your local crafts store, like Michaels or Jo-Ann Fabrics. You can also find really neat ones at hobby shops with the doll house pieces or special expensive ones at jewelry stores. Now that you know how it’s done, you could try making your own Fanciful Flight® or other creations yourself by drawing out characters and shapes on heavy paper. Cut it out, decorate, and dangle!
